OLD BAY Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo lump blue crab meat, picked over for shells
  • 8-12 oz prepared artichoke jalapeño dip (La Terra Fina best, or Trader Joe's)
  • 1–2 tablespoons Authentic OLD BAY Seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
  • Optional garnish: extra OLD BAY seasoning and chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix the base.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the artichoke jalapeño dip, ¾ cup of the shredded Parmesan cheese, and 1 tablespoon of Authentic OLD BAY Seasoning.
  3. Fold in the crab.
Gently fold in the jumbo lump blue crab meat, taking care not to break up the large lumps too much. Add additional OLD BAY seasoning if you like a stronger Maryland flavor.
  4. Bake.
Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish or cast iron skillet. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
  5. Finish & serve.
Sprinkle with a little extra OLD BAY and parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Serving Suggestion

For maximum crunch and flavor, skip the crackers and serve with OLD BAY Bagel Chips for the perfect salty, crunchy pairing with creamy Maryland crab dip.

Phil’s Tip

The secret is using jumbo lump crab meat and folding it in gently at the end so you keep those beautiful chunks intact. Don’t overmix - let the crab shine.
